Making of a interactive LED RIG
for abstract video « Orpheo’s Mind » on Orfeo ed Euridice extract by Gluck « Che puro Ciel ».
Base Design
Base design was done by Romain Brision, using the parametric design tool Grasshoper.
It was then build in plexiglass.
LED Rig
I took care of the LEDs system, which is based on 500+ assigneable LEDs, placed and dispatched at the back of the horizontal plexiglass slides.
It is then controled by a custom Processing software, using touchScreen capability for used laptop.
Shooting
For the shooting the cloud was placed between two videoprojectors, one for itself and one for the wall behind it.
